Leash up your furry friends, it's time for another SNA Neighborhood Dog Walk. We will meet at Keller Apothecary at 7:00pm. All dogs must be on a leash, and please bring poop bags to pick up after your dog. Friendly dogs only and all children must be accompanied by an adult. We look forward to meeting our neighbors both human and canine!
Please register for the event so we know how many people to expect.
Frustrated? A Block Contact/Captain who wants some advice, tips, ideas? Here's where the safety activists congregate to share ideas on what has worked or even that everyone is looking for a different way or a new idea. From crime details to traffic signage to alley and street lighting and more, this is the place to come. A recent addition is the addition of neighborhood vacant/neglected properties to this discussion.
It's a free event and open to the public. The data is specific to Southampton as we address our safety issues. As a member check out the Member Calendar and register for the event on Saturday, October 20. Stop by and check it out.
Want to improve the safety and security of property, residents, employees, and customers? Come to the Southampton Neighborhood Association Meeting on November 14th. Learn about an innovative plan to step up the safety of the neighborhoods along the Hampton and Chippewa.
We'll hear from a Real Time Crime Center speaker (having the experience of the tour will help inform you before this meeting) about the success of the Center. We will also hear from Ward 16 Alderman, Tom Oldenburg, about his plan to improve safety in our immediate region in a timely fashion.
Mark your calendars and let your neighbors know. Plenty of parking is available.
